Great Plains Rodeo Association
The Gay Rodeo in Oklahoma is a vibrant and inclusive event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community while preserving the rich traditions of rodeo. It provides a welcoming space where participants and spectators can enjoy a range of rodeo competitions, such as bull riding, barrel racing, and roping events. Beyond the competitive aspects, the Gay Rodeo also emphasizes community, camaraderie, and support, often featuring entertainment, dances, and charity fundraising. This event not only showcases the skills and talents of LGBTQ+ rodeo enthusiasts but also fosters a sense of belonging and visibility within the broader cultural tapestry of Oklahoma.

6/20/2024-GPRA recently lost our President and Rodeo Director Paul Boyd.
